Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's rooms, though practical, are a little bit small. They faced the basketball court, making it a hub of noisy activity in town, which was quite bizarre. However, the hotel's service was lovely and helpful, especially when finding local eateries or arranging trips. The location, right in the center of town, enhances the experience, being close to the water and near the middle of all the action. The on-site dining for fishermen, including a delicious breakfast, is a unique touch.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the rooms were a good size and located conveniently in the corner of the building, making it a bit challenging to find a breakfast place around. The service was a bit hit-and-miss with staff speaking exclusively Spanish, being unfriendly and uncooperative at times, while on the other hand, they were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was a nice central spot, allowing easy exploration of the area, including taking boat trips and visiting nature reserves. However, it is important to note that prices for some tours were significantly higher than arranging directly with local fishermen. The dining experience provided including a breakfast was just okay, not exceptional.
The hotel room was practical and big, featuring a great, huge, and comfy bed alongside a rather hot shower. However, it faced the noisy basketball court, which was the hub of town activity. The rooms overlooked a central courtyard providing a good view.
